U17 World Cup: Golden Eaglets defeats Mexico to set up all Africa final against Mali

Fifa U17 world cup defending champion, Nigeria, on Friday morning, defeated Mexico, to qualify for their second consecutive finals of the competition.
The reigning world champions, are set to meet fellow Africans Mali, in the final of the on going FiFa U17 world cup in Chile.
Having defeated Football giants Brazil by 3-0, the reigning champions, had to come from behind to lead and win the encounter with Mexico on Friday morning.
The Mexicans, took the lead through Kevin Magana, with stunning efforts from Kelechi Nwakali and Orji Okwonkwo seeing the African side ahead. Diego Cortes’s remarkable solo effort levelled matters, before Osinachi Ebere and Victor Osimhen’s late record-equalling penalty saw the Golden Eaglets into an all-African final against Mali.

Nigeria head to Vina Del Mar on Sunday for an all-African final against continental champions Mali while Mexico will face off against Belgium in the match for third place earlier the same day.
