Biafra Protesters storm enugu metropolis

Residents of Enugu States metropolis, on Sunday, witness the activities of members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, who were protesting the leader of the group, Nnamdi Kanu.



The protesters who marched through major street in the state, calling for the leader of the group, also demanded for the urgent recognition of the Sovereign State of Biafra.
The protesters who were chanting anti-Federal government slogans, declared their opposition to the incarceration of the IPOB leader.

They said that they would not relent in their agitation for the actualization of Biafra.

Some residents who were going to different churches within New Haven area of Enugu for Sunday worship joined the crowd in the protest march holding their Bibles and chanting “Anyi amakwe” meaning “We will not agree”.

However, their protest, was overall a peaceful one, as motorists and other road users, where allowed to ply the road, without any confrontation from the group.
