Pdp national chairman Adamu Muazu, resigns as chairman. Secondus to step in as chairman.

It is no longer news that after the general elections in which the Peoples Democratic Party loosed, the party has had to battle from one form of crisis to the other.



And on Wednesday 20 of May 2015, the crisis rocking the party, took another twist, when the national chairman of the party Alhaji Adamu Muazu, chooses to tender his resignation letter to the party following much pressure from stakeholders, supporters, and leaders of the party. Urging him to resign as party chairman following the parties abysmal performance in the last general elections.



Alhaji Muazu whose resignation, took effect immediately, made the announcement in a letter sent to the Deputy national chairman Prince Uche Secondus. Muazu noted clearly that due to the poor performance of the party in the just concluded 2015 general electiosns, it became imperative for him to resign, and for peace to reign supreme in the party.



In line with the parties constitution, Alhaji Muazu, asked Secondus to step in as acting NATional Chairman.
